MED TRAVEL VENTURES, SL (“MED”) is committed to respecting the privacy of those who visit and use its website, whose main page is located at the address thisismed.com (the “Portal”). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform the user about the processing of personal data collected through the Portal and the services to which it is associated, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, the regulations that develop it and Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce. The use of the Portal or any of its associated services implies the user's acceptance of the provisions contained in this Privacy Policy, and that their personal data is processed as stipulated therein. The user's personal data collected through the Portal will be included in a file whose responsibility is MED, with registered office at C/Escar, 6-8. Edifici el Far 08039 Barcelona.
  1. Purposes
The personal data that the user provides when filling out the experiences and boats form or when registering will be processed by MED to fulfill the following purposes:
  • Process and manage the reservation and payments for experiences and boats.
  • Facilitate user contact on the Portal.
  • Inform users, electronically and non-electronically, of the products and/or services offered through the Portal.
  • Develop surveys, promotions and statistical studies, as well as request opinions and evaluations.
  • Report relevant changes to the Portal or the conditions of access to it.
The data that the user provides when applying for a job at MED will be used to manage the selection process of said candidate in the company. If the user subscribes to the newsletters, MED will send them by email content and information about its products, services and activities. If the user contacts MED through the Portal, their personal data will be used to respond to requests for consultation, information, complaints and claims.

MED will treat users' personal data with complete confidentiality. If a user comments on a certain experience or another publication, their data will be published on the Portal.   1. THE PAYMENT
Last minute bookings:
  • 100% payment to confirm the booking. In advance bookings:
  • 25% of the charter price should be paid either immediately upon booking.
  • 75% of the total price of the booking must be paid 10 days before the booking date.

On the part of the client In the event of withdrawal after booking on the part of the client, the cancellation expenses are the following:
  • More than 15 days before departure: a penalty of 10% of the rental amount.
  • Cancellations 15 to 4 days before departure: a penalty 50% of the rental amount.
  • Less than 4 days before departure: a penalty of 100% of the rental amount.
